There is an exclusive royal touch to Copenhagen, one of Europe’s oldest capitals. Upon arrival in Copenhagen, you will be greeted by your Friendly representative, who will then take you to your hotel and check you in. In the afternoon, visit the Tivoli Gardens, one of Copenhagen’s most famous amusement parks.

Take a guided tour of Copenhagen this morning. There are many historical buildings and ancient streets in this city. Copenhagen’s Little Mermaid and Gefion fountain are symbols of the city. Among the sights you may see are Amalienborg Palace with four identical facades, where you may witness the change of guard ceremony, Christiansborg Castle, home of the Danish Parliament, and others. The Nyhavn Canal Cruise is one of the most beautiful and enjoyable ways to see Copenhagen’s old harbor and maritime city. Proceed to the ferry to board your DFDS cruise to Oslo later.

Arrive at Oslo Pier. Your local guide will introduce you to the city of Oslo. Visit the medieval Akershus Fortress, the 1950s City Hall, the Royal Palace, Parliament, and the National Theatre. Next, take a stroll through the Vigeland Sculpture Park, one of the most famous parks in the world. Over 200 stone, bronze, and cast-iron sculptures by the Norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland are on display in the park. Get a breath-taking view of Oslo fjords from the top of Holmenkollen Ski Jump, a large ski jumping hill. Visit the Museum of Cultural History on the Bygdoy peninsula on the western side of Oslo. The largest cultural-historical collection in Norway. Among the highlights are the country’s oldest skull, Viking treasures, Egyptian mummies, and ethnographic exhibits. Drive to Geilo later.

Checkout is completed and we proceed to Gudvangen. Today is one of the highlights of your trip – Norway in Nutshell. There is a combination of spectacular train rides, impressive boat rides, and scenic bus rides. In Fjord Norway, you will be captivated by some of the most magnificent scenery. Explore the spectacular fjords on a boat ride. As the boat takes you from Aurlands fjord into the Naeroyfjord, one of the narrowest fjords in Europe, you will be surrounded by mighty mountains of up to 1800 meters high. Travel to Myrdal by Flam engineering set in wild and wonderful scenery. On the way down to the wild Flam valley, the train glides through tunnels and open stretches as huge mountains and thundering waterfalls surround you. To get to Geilo, change lines in Myrdal to the other line. Drive to Oslo in your coach.

During the drive to Stockholm – the Swedish capital – you can check out, relax, and enjoy the view from your coach. On the way, stop in Karlstad, a town situated between Stockholm and Oslo. A river bisects the town, and the Smiling Sun is its symbol. Visitors can completely enjoy Lake Vanern’s splendid beauty. Continue your journey to Stockholm. As soon as you arrive in Stockholm, check into your hotel and relax.

A guided tour of Stockholm, often called the Venice of the North, will begin this morning when you meet your local guide in the hotel lobby. See the magnificent view from Fjällgatan

Discover the Old Town with its cobblestone alleys, the Royal Palace, the Cathedral, and the City Hall where the Nobel Prize award ceremony is held each year. This outstanding museum, which houses eight exhibitions, is one of Sweden’s most popular tourist attractions because of its beautifully preserved wooden warship that sank in Stockholm Harbour during her maiden voyage in 1628. The SkyView is Stockholm’s landmark, a world-class attraction that takes you to the top of the world’s largest spherical building for a wonderful view of the city.

Take a guided tour of Drottningholm Palace, the private residence of the Swedish royal family. Late this afternoon, proceed to the pier to board the overnight cruise to Helsinki.

Upon arrival in Helsinki, we check out from the cruise and take a tour of the city by driving past the city’s busy harbor and shipyards and along the coast by Embassy Park, taking in the colourful open-air market. The tour also takes you to Senate Square, where a magnificent Lutheran cathedral is located, as well as Esplanadi, a popular shopping avenue with designer shops. The Sibelius Monument honors the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. In addition to seeing the Parliament building and the National Museum, you will also see Finlandia Hall, designed by Alvar Alto as a concert hall and convention center. The Olympic Stadium Helsinki was constructed for its hosting of the 1952 Olympic Games. Your sightseeing tour of Helsinki will also include a visit to the unique Rock Church, which is made of solid rock and topped with a copper dome.
